The Department of History and the Beta Upsilon chapter of Phi Alpha Theta are hosting the second annual spring history conference this Friday, March 2, on the second floor of the Memorial Union. Undergraduate and graduate student presentations revolve around three historical themes: “Race and Slavery,” the “Upper Plains and the American West,” and “Military History in the Ancient Mediterranean.” The Race and Slavery panel begins at 10:30 a.m. in room 217.
